Vendredi le 30 juin, Lyon - Londre
Everyone kept telling me the many great things about London and how I should go there and feel the liberty in the air.. they insisted that I would like it. I took André's suggestion and stayed in London for 4 nights and it didn't take me long to regret this decision! On the plane I sat by this French couple - they were so out-numbered! Most passengers were English.. « Putain ! Tout le monde parlent anglais ici ! » I overheard this as we arrived at the airport. Well, I have to admit at first I really couldn't get used to hearing English all the time @@b good thing was, though, that they understood me -- my expression in english is of course better than in french. And in fact, as opposed to being in France where everyone DOES speak French (except me), you don't hear English all the time in London - they call it variety. Well I suppose the French considers it racial separation.
England lost. France own!
法國竟然贏了巴西, 跟著酒吧中法佬們高傲歌聲齊哼, 市區街道就被他們囂張地霸佔狂歡... 好樣的, 給我拿冠軍吧!!!
Tuesday 04 July 2006, London - Berlin
I don't know other parts of the world, but Berlin is certainly THE PLACE to be!! Had a fantastic time there - high standard professional contemporary art spaces, great tasty beer, inexpensive quality food, hot sexy German Germans, modern new buildings, wider roads, good public transports (expensive and confusing though), the best of all -- it has the touch of modernity without being super crowded (perhaps they were all around the stadium)... Well I felt a bit sorry for having no knowledge of the german language, yet we survived! yes, we did! People were all very nice, and most of them, even though they didn't speak English, they understood us when we did, and didn't show any look of disgust or disregard. Fusion is pretty hip in Berlin too. To be perfectly honest, I don't like so much French cuisine, it's usually too rich, even when done to perfection. Like it's perfect, but it's the sort of luxury I don't and can't enjoy everyday. Another thing, dining in France you don't usually get young hot waiters/waitresses which does kill your appetite a bit ^o^
Germany lost. France own! 離冠軍之路越來越近, 當然我會回法與之同慶啦, 挖哈哈...
